Ingredients for Lobsters Stuffed With Oysters

  • 2 lobsters, boiled
  • 18 oysters
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • Seasonings to taste
  • 1 cup thick white sauce
  • (To make White Sauce: scald 1 pint of milk. Melt 1,2 or 3 tablespoons of butter, depending on desired consistency, in a saucepan. Add half a teaspoon of salt, and 1,2,or 4 tablespoons of flour, depending on desired consistency, and let cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Add the milk little by little, stirring gently until it boils. Let it boil for 3 minutes.)

Instructions

  1. Cut lobsters in halves.
  2. Remove meat and cut in small pieces.
  3. Chop oysters.
  4. Cook oysters in the white sauce, with the seasonings, for about 2 minutes.
  5. Add the lobster meat and the bread crumbs.
  6. Fill each lobster shell with the mixture.
  7. Put lobster shells in baking pan.
  8. Bake in hot oven for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Then serve.
