Ingredients for Lobster Anchovy Sandwich Recipe

  • Lobster
  • 3-4 hard-boiled eggs, mashed
  • 2 salted anchovies
  • 1 spoonful of lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Boston brown bread
  • lettuce

Instructions

  1. Pound the coral of a lobster.
  2. Skin and bone 2 salted anchovies.
  3. Mash the anchovies, lobster and hard-boiled eggs together.
  4. Season with lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Cut thin slices of Boston brown bread; spread with the fish mixture; cover with a crisp leaf of lettuce, then with another slice of bread.
  7. Cut in halves or quarters.

Note: Any cold fish may be substituted for the lobster.
