Lemon Whip Recipe

Ingredients for Lemon Whip Recipe

• Juice of 4 lemons
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 box of gelatin dissolved in 1/2 cup of water
• whites of 4 eggs
• 1/4 pound candied cherries
• 1 pint of boiling water

Instructions

1. Mix water, juice, sugar, and dissolved gelatine together; set on ice to cool.
2. When beginning to harden add the whites of the eggs beaten to a stiff froth, and whip together thoroughly.
3. Line mould with the cherries, and fill with mixture.
