Ingredients for Lemon Sherbet
- 2 quarts of milk
- 1½ pounds of sugar
- Juice of 6 lemons

Instructions
- Mix sugar and milk together; put in freezer, and when partly frozen add juice of lemons and freeze like ice cream.
- The grated rind and juice of 2 oranges may be added to the above if desired.
