Ingredients for Lemon Nutmet Sauce

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch
  • Few grains salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine the corn syrup, water, salt and nutmeg.
  2. Boil five minutes, thicken with the cornstarch stirred with one tablespoon cold water.
  3. Add the lemon juice, nutmeg and serve.
