Ingredients for Lamb With Barley And Cabbage

  • 2½ pounds lamb, breast or shoulder, cut in large pieces
  • 1 onion, peeled, sliced
  • 2 cups barley, washed
  • 1 cabbage, washed, quartered
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a kettle.
  2. Cover with water to 2 inches above top of food materials.
  3. Place cover on kettle.
  4. Cook very slowly for 50 minutes.
  5. Then serve.
