Ingredients for Lady Finger And Nut Pudding
- 12 lady-fingers, cut in halves crosswise
- ½ cup chopped nuts
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix eggs and sugar together.
- Add gradually the milk and mix well.
- Put lady fingers and nuts in a pudding dish.
- Pour over them the milk and egg mixture.
- Add the vanilla extract.
- Set pudding dish in a pan of water.
- Bake in moderate oven for about 35 minutes.
