Ingredients for Lady Finger And Nut Pudding

  • 12 lady-fingers, cut in halves crosswise
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs and sugar together.
  2. Add gradually the milk and mix well.
  3. Put lady fingers and nuts in a pudding dish.
  4. Pour over them the milk and egg mixture.
  5. Add the vanilla extract.
  6. Set pudding dish in a pan of water.
  7. Bake in moderate oven for about 35 minutes.
