Ingredients for Italian Cannoli Recipe

  • 2 lbs. ricotta cheese
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces or grated sweet chocolate
  • 2 tbsp. citron
  • 10 candied cherries, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix cheese with powdered sugar and chocolate.
  2. Add citron, cherries, and cinnamon.
  3. Use electric mixer until well-blended.
  4. Place in refrigerator overnight to chill.
  5. The following day, stuff each of the cannolis with mixture.
