Ingredients for Ice Fruit Soup Recipe
- 1 cup syrup from canned pineapple
- 5 cloves
- 2 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot or cornstarch mixed with 1/3 cup cold water
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup grapefruit juice

Instructions
- Place pineapple syrup in pan and add cloves and cinnamon; bring to boiling point.
- Add arrowroot or cornstarch-water mixture
- Stir and cook 3 minutes. Add sugar, salt, orange juice, and grapefruit juice.
- Strain into a refrigerator-safe pan, cool, then put in chilling unit and chill 1-1/2 to 2 hours, stirring once or twice.
