Ingredients for Huckleberry Cake Recipe

• 1 pint of berries
• 1 cup of sugar
• Rub into the sugar 2 rounding tablespoons of soft butter
• 1 cup of milk
• 2 cups of flour
• 2 heaping teaspoons of baking-powder sifted into the flour
• A very little salt

Instructions

1. Nutmeg.
2. Add another cup of flour to the berries and stir in last.
3. Serve warm as dessert or tea cake, with sugar and butter.
