Instructions
- Cream one-half cup of butter, add one teaspoon of flour, the yolks of two eggs, one saltspoon of salt, one quarter saltspoon of cayenne pepper and very gradually the juice of one-half a lemon.
- Pour over this one-half cup of boiling water and cook over boiling water until thickened, sliding all the time.
