Ingredients for Hollandaise Sauce Recipe
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Beat butter to cream.
- Add yolks one at a time.
- Beat well.
- Add the lemon juice,salt and pepper.
- Five minutes before serving, add water a little at a time, stirring well.
- Place bowl in a sauce pan of boiling water stirring rapidly until it thickens like custard.
