Ingredients for Hamburger Potato Casserole Recipe
- 1 lb. Hamburger
- 5 medium baking potatoes
- 1 medium Vidalia onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- Milk
Instructions
- In skillet, brown hamburger and onions over medium-high heat until light brown.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the meat is completely browned, add both the soup and paprika.
- After paring and slicing the potatoes, place a layer of potatoes in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- Then, cover with a layer of hamburger meat and onion mixture, then another of potatoes.
- Pour enough milk over until it shows around edges.
- Bake at 350 degrees until potatoes are soft when poked with a fork.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
