Instructions
A basic guide for cooking different types of cereals:
- Cornmeal: 1 cup of cornmeal with 4 cups of water for 1 hour.
- Cream of Barley: 1 cup of cream of barley with 4 cups of water for 45 minutes.
- Cream of Wheat: 1 cup of cream of wheat with 4 cups of water for 30 mnutes.
- Mush: 1 cup of mush (corn or wheat) with 4 cups of water for 1 hour.
- Oatmeal: 1 cup of oatmeal with 4 cups of water for 1 1/2 hours.
- Rice: Cook 1 cup of rice with 7 cups of water for 20-30 minutes.
- Rolled oats: 1 cup of rolled oats with 3 cups of water for 1 hour.
