Ingredients for Grouse With Sour Cream And Raisins

  • 2 grouse
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put grouse in a roasting pan with the butter, cream and seasonings.
  2. Boil the raisins in water for 2 minutes.
  3. Drain off water.
  4. Put raisins in the roasting pan with the grouse.
  5. Place roasting pan in oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. If, in the process of baking, the cream becomes too thick, add some boiling water.
  7. Baste the grouse often with the cream.
