Ingredients for Green Corn Custard

  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of corn pulp (fresh or canned)
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of milk
  • ½ cup of cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg and add the other ingredients in the order enumerated.
  2. Bake nearly an hour in a very slow oven.
  3. Serve hot with butter at luncheon or supper.
