Ingredients for Grapefruit Gelatine
- ½ cup grapefruit Juice
- 1¼ cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ ounce vegetable gelatin
- 1 cup water in which to dissolve the gelatin

Instructions
- While the gelatin is receiving its preliminary preparation of soaking and draining, mix together the grapefruit juice, water, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
- Use a lemon drill to obtain the grapefruit juice.
- Both the grapefruit juice and the lemon juice should be strained before using.
- After draining the last time, boil the gelatin in the one cup of water till dissolved, then strain it into the remaining ingredients.
- Mix well, and pour into a mold or cups wet with cold water.
- When cold, unmold, and serve with cream, whipped cream, vanilla sauce, or lemon custard sauce.
