Ingredients for Grape Gelatine

  • 1¾ cups grape juice
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ ounce of gelatin, cooked in
  • 1 cup hot water
  • A few grains salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gelatin as usual, by soaking it in three changes of hot water.
  2. After it is drained the last time, cook it in the one cup hot water till it dissolves, then strain it into the remaining ingredients, which have been mixed together.
  3. Turn it into a mold or into cups wet with cold water.
  4. When cold, turn it into a mold or into cups wet with cold water.
  5. When cold, turn it out of the mold, and serve with custard sauce or apple whip.
