Ingredients for Graham Fruit Mush Recipe
- 2 cups Graham flour
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup dates or figs
- Scant teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Blend the Graham flour with the cold water in the inside sleeve of a double boiler. Add the boiling water and salt and boil until it thickens.
- Set in an outer boiler and cook for an hour.
- Cut the dates lengthwise into quarters and add them to the mush 10 minutes before serving.
- If dried figs are used, they should be steamed first or cooked with the grain.
