Ingredients for Frozen Turkish Coffee Recipe
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 pint of stiffly whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon of confectioner's sugar
- 1 pinch of powdered cinnamon
- Few drops of vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of coffee extract, available at drug and grocery stores
- Freeze as usual; serve in small crystal cups, garnishing each with a star of whipped cream flavored with almond extract.
Instructions
- Heat the sugar and water until it forms a soft ball
- Pour it slowly on the stiffly beaten egg whites, beating constantly
- When light and creamy, add the whipped cream, confectioner's sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and coffee extract.
- Freeze as usual. Serve in small crystal cups, garnishing each with a star of whipped cream flavored with almond extract.
