Frozen Turkish Coffee Recipe

Ingredients for Frozen Turkish Coffee Recipe
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pint of stiffly whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon of confectioner's sugar
  • 1 pinch of powdered cinnamon
  • Few drops of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of coffee extract, available at drug and grocery stores
  1. Freeze as usual; serve in small crystal cups, garnishing each with a star of whipped cream flavored with almond extract.

Instructions
  1. Heat the sugar and water until it forms a soft ball
  2. Pour it slowly on the stiffly beaten egg whites, beating constantly
  3. When light and creamy, add the whipped cream, confectioner's sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and coffee extract.
  4. Freeze as usual. Serve in small crystal cups, garnishing each with a star of whipped cream flavored with almond extract.
