Ingredients for Frozen Fig Pudding Recipe

  • 1 quart milk
  • 1½ tablespoons gelatine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ pound English walnuts
  • ¼ pound figs
  • Vanilla to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak gelatine in cold milk.
  2. Put milk, eggs, and sugar in double boiler and cook to custard.
  3. Chop nuts and figs very fine and add with gelatine to custard.
  4. Cool, add flavoring, turn into ice-cream freezer and freeze.
  5. Can be improved by substituting cream for milk.
