Ingredients for Frozen Custard
- 2½ cups milk
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
- Heat one and one-half cups of the milk in a double boiler.
- Stir into it the cornstarch stirred smooth with a little cold milk.
- Then add the yolks and whites of the eggs, beaten separately, first diluting the yolks with some of the hot milk.
- Remove from the fire, and stir in the sugar and vanilla.
- Let the custard cool, then pour in the rest of the milk, or part of it may be cream.
- Freeze.
