Ingredients for Fried Parsley

  • vegetable shortening
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash, pick and dry the parsley; put into frying basket and immerse in hot vegetable shortening fifteen seconds or until crisp.
  2. Drain and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. It should be a nice green color.
  4. If it turns black it has been too long in the fat.
