Instructions

  1. Boil some artichokes according to the preceding recipe.
  2. Take them out of the water and drain them.
  3. Put a breakfast-cup of milk into a saucepan, flavor it with salt, pepper, and powdered cinnamon, and thicken it with a small piece of butter rolled in flour.
  4. Turn the artichokes into this, and let all stew together gently for a few minutes.
  5. Time to stew, five or six minutes.
