Feather Cake Recipe

Instructions

1. Cream 1/2 cup vegetable shortening with 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 2 eggs beaten with 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon extract, 1 cup milk, 2 1/2 cups flour, and 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder.
2. Beat 2 minutes and turn into vegetable shorteninged and floured cake tin.
3. Bake in moderate oven for 3/4 of an hour.
