Ingredients for Farina Cakes With Jelly Recipe
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 1/2 cup farina
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Mix farina, sugar, and salt.
- Add to milk and cook in double boiler for 20 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture has thickened.
- Add a slightly beaten egg and pour mixture into a buttered shallow pan.
- Brush over with another slightly beaten egg diluted with milk.
- Place in an oven and brown at 350 degrees.
- Cut in squares and serve with a cube of jelly on each square.
