Ingredients for Entire Wheat Rolls Recipe
- 2 cups entire wheat flour (ground fine)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons solid vegetable fat
- 2 teaspoons sugar (or 2 tablespoons meltose)
- About 2/3 cup cold water

Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Work the fat in slowly.
- Stir in the water and work into a medium dough.
- Knead on a flat board, folding it over and over.
- Press together to enclose air.
- Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness, cut into strips 1/2 inch in width, and roll each piece slightly to remove the sharp edges.
- Cut crosswise into 3-inch lengths and lay in a baking pan, leaving a little space between.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until it reaches a very light brown color.
