Ingredients for English Apple Pudding

  • 12 or 14 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon extract nutmeg
  • 1½ cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Line earthenware pudding-mould with paste, pack in apples, sugar, and extract; wet edges; cover, pinch edges together firmly; place in saucepan half full boiling water.
