Ingredients for Eggs A La Suisse Recipe 1

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 to 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup cream
  • Salt
  • Cayenne

Instructions

  1. Spread the bottom of a baking dish with butter.
  2. Sprinkle a layer of grated cheese over it and break the eggs on the cheese, being careful not to break the yolks.
  3. Pour a little cream over the eggs, then more grated cheese.
  4. Season with salt and cayenne, and bake at 350 degrees F until the eggs are set, but not hard.
  5. Serve in the baking dish.
