Ingredients for Eggs "alla Piacentina" Recipe

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 rounded tablespoon melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices of Parmesan or Gruyere cheese

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs whites until stiff.
  2. Add the yolks, melted butter, and a little salt and pepper.
  3. In small, buttered baking dish, place a layer or two of cheese.
  4. Place in a warm oven for a few moments until thoroughly heated.
  5. Then, pour on the egg mixture, put back in the oven, and serve when the eggs are a golden brown.
