Ingredients for Egg Wine Recipe
- One egg
- 3/4 cup cold water, divided
- Glass of white wine
- Sugar
- Nutmeg

Instructions
- Beat the egg and mix with it a spoonful of cold water.
- Bring the white wine, half a glass of water, sugar, and nutmeg to a boil.
- When it boils, slowly add the egg, stirring it well.
- Simmer for one minute. Do not let it boil or the egg will curdle.
- Serve with toast.
- Egg wine may be made as above without warming the egg. It is lighter on the stomach, though not as pleasant to taste.
