Ingredients for Egg Timbales Recipe 1

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • A few drops of onion juice, if desired
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Break eggs into a bowl with salt, pepper, and onion juice.
  2. Beat until thoroughly blended, then gradually add the milk.
  3. Divide equally among six well buttered timbale molds (common cups will serve the purpose).
  4. Place the molds in a pan half filled with hot water and bake in a moderate oven about 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until firm to the touch.
  5. Remove carefully and place on a heated platter, pouring bread sauce around.
