Ingredients for Egg Custard Recipe
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Dash of nutmeg
- 3 cups scalded milk
- Pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Beat eggs.
- While still stirring the eggs, slowly add the sugar, salt, vanilla, and nutmeg.
- Pour batter into pie crust and bake for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, cut heat back to 350 degrees and cook for another 25 minutes.
