Ingredients for Dumplings

  • 1-¾ cups flour
  • ¼ cup Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn oil
  • ¾ cup milk or water

Instructions

  1. Sift together the dry ingredients, stir in the corn oil and milk, and drop small tablespoons onto the boiling stew.
  2. Cover and boil gently fifteen to twenty minutes.
