Ingredients for Dumplings For Stews Recipe

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix and sift the dry ingredients; mix with the milk and drop by spoonfuls into the boiling stew.
  2. Cover tight, cook for ten minutes.
  3. These may be dropped on a buttered plate and cooked in a steamer over fast boiling water.
