Ingredients for Dropped Biscuit Recipe

  • 4 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix and sift the dry ingredients four times.
  2. Cut and rub the butter into the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix with the cold milk and beat vigorously for one minute.
  4. Drop by tablespoons into hot iron gem pans, bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
