Ingredients for Drop Fruit Cookies Recipe
- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 2/3 cup sugar
- ½ cup corn oil
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup raisins
- ½ cup chopped dates
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3-¼ cups flour
- ¼ cup Argo or Kingsford's cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Stir dry ingredients together and add fruit.
- Mix corn syrup, sugar, corn oil, milk and egg and beat in flour mixture.
- Drop by teaspoons (an inch apart) onto a pan oiled with corn oil, and bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F., about fifteen minutes.
