Ingredients for Dandelions And Potatoes

  • 1 pound dandelions, washed, picked
  • 8 potatoes, washed, quartered
  • ½ cup milk, scalded
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil together the dandelions and potatoes in a very little water for about 25 minutes.
  2. Drain off water.
  3. Mash with a potato masher.
  4. Add milk, butter and seasonings..
  5. Mix well.
  6. Then serve.
  7. This dish must be equal in consistency to mashed potatoes.
