Ingredients for Custard Pie Recipe 5

  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 1 teaspoon flavoring extract - vanilla or other flavor as desired
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs slightly, and add the salt and sugar.
  2. Pour into the mixture slowly the scalded milk, and add the flavoring.
  3. Line pie plate with pie crust.
  4. Pour in the custard mixture.
  5. Bake in slow oven (250-300 degrees) for about 30 minutes.
