Ingredients for Custard, Soft

  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soft Recipe, Beat the egg yolks slightly with the sugar and add slowly the scalded milk.
  2. Place on a slow fire and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from fire and add the vanilla extract.
  4. Serve hot or cold.
