Ingredients for Custard, Soft
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 3 egg yolks
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Soft Recipe, Beat the egg yolks slightly with the sugar and add slowly the scalded milk.
- Place on a slow fire and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from fire and add the vanilla extract.
- Serve hot or cold.
