Ingredients for Croutons For Cream Soups Recipe

  • Several slices stale bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Cut bread into slices from 1/4 to 1/3 an inch thick.
  2. Remove the crusts, spread the surfaces with butter, and cut the slices into pieces an inch square.
  3. Set these into the oven to brown, turning to brown both sides.
