Ingredients for Crisco Drops Recipe
- ½ cup golden syrup
- 4 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Put vegetable shortening, golden syrup, water, and salt into saucepan and boil until it is almost brittle when tested in cold water, or 290 degree F., then add vanilla.
- Allow to cool down, and then drop on to vegetable shorteninged tin.
- Sufficient for twenty drops.
