Ingredients for Creme Brulee Cheesecake Recipe

  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 9-inch graham cracker pie crust

For topping:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Using medium speed, mix together the softened cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in eggs and yolk.
  4. Pour into pie crust and bake for 40 minutes.
  5. After letting it cool, chill in refrigerator for several hours.
  6. Stir together brown sugar and water and spoon over chilled cheesecake.
  7. Place cheesecake on a baking sheet in the middle of the oven a few inches under the broiler.
  8. Broil for about one minute until bubbly.
