Ingredients for Creamed Chicken With Fresh Mushrooms Recipe

  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup hot cream
  • 1 quart fresh mushrooms, diced
  • Toast for serving
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Combine butter, flour, and hot cream in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until heated through and smooth.
  3. To this, add chicken and mushrooms. Simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Serve on strips of toast; garnish with green parsley.
