Creamed Chicken Recipe

Ingredients for Creamed Chicken Recipe 1

• 1¼ cups of cooked chicken cut in cubes
• ¼ teaspoon of salt
• ¼ teaspoon of pepper
• 2 tablespoons of butter
• 1 cup of milk or thin cream
• 2 tablespoons of flour

Instructions

1. Combine butter, flour, seasonings and milk in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until butter is melted.
2. Add the chicken. Cook until heated through.
3. Serve on toast or on corn fritters.
4. Peas may be added with the chicken.
