Ingredients for Cream Peanut Soup Recipe

  • 1 pint milk, or 1 cup milk and 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons shredded cocoanut
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rub the nut butter smooth with the liquid.
  2. Add the cocoanut.
  3. Steep fifteen or twenty minutes in a double boiler.
  4. Strain out the cocoanut.
  5. Reheat and thicken with the flour stirred smooth with a little cold water.
  6. Add salt.
