Ingredients for Cream Of Tomato No. 1

  • 2 cups tomato pulp
  • 1-½ cups cream
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the tomato gradually to the boiling point and thicken with the flour made smooth with a little cold water.
  2. Heat the cream in a double boiler; then set on the table and pour the tomato gradually into the cream, stirring constantly.
  3. Salt to taste, strain and serve.

  8. 2 teaspoons vegetable butter
  9. 1 tablespoon cream roast flour
  10. 1 cup canned milk
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Bring tomato, water and butter to a boil.
  13. Thicken slightly with the flour made smooth with a little cold tomato or water.
  14. Salt to taste, add canned milk (unheated), strain, and serve.
