Ingredients for Cream Layer Cake
- 1/3 cup butter
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1¾ cups flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2½ teaspoons baking powder
Instructions
- Cream the butter, add sugar gradually, and egg well beaten.
- Mix and sift flour and baking powder, add alternately with milk to first mixture.
- Bake thirty minutes in round layer cake pans.
- Put Cream Filling between layers and sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
