Ingredients for Cream Custard Recipe
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- Yolks of four eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sweet milk
Instructions
- Cream flour and melted butter together.
- Beat yolks and add the sugar.
- Heat the milk until it is scalded, then pour it into the flour mixture.
- Mix in the egg mixture.
- Cook in double boiler until thick.
- Add any desired flavoring.
