Crab Appetizer Recipe

Instructions

1. Mix half a pint of sweet cream with the shredded meat from six boiled crabs, and when warmed through add three tablespoons of butter, salt, cayenne pepper to taste and two tablespoons of grated Italian cheese and the beaten yolk of one egg.
2. Heat thoroughly, and place on squares of buttered toast.
3. Place them in a pan and run into the oven for a few minutes, then serve each on a white lettuce leaf.
